Note on Current Control
To control the motor with greater current, the motor power line must be directly connected to the power supply, not through the governor.
Governor Wiring & Internal Function Description
  • 1 Governor Positive Input: Positive power supply input for the governor and motor.
  • 2 Governor Negative Input: Negative power supply input for the governor and motor.
  • 3 Motor Positive Output: The positive output connection for the motor power supply.
  • 4 Motor Negative Output: The negative output connection for the motor power supply.
  • 5 Rotation Control (F/R): High and low level output of positive and negative rotation control. High level: 5V, Low level: 0V. Controlled by touch switch 2 (F/R). The default state is high level.
  • 6 Brake Control (BRA): High and low level output of brake control. High level: 5V, Low level: 0V. Controlled by touch switch 1 (BRA). Power-on default state is high level.
  • 7 Analog Voltage Output: Output range of 0~5V. This interface is suitable for motors accepting analog voltage speed regulation.
  • 8 PWM1 Reverse Output: Suitable for motors accepting PWM speed regulation. Speed is inversely proportional to the duty cycle.
  • 9 PWM2 Forward Output: Suitable for motors accepting PWM speed regulation. Speed is proportional to the duty cycle.
  • 10 Feedback Input: Motor feedback signal input port.
Signal Adjustments (5-9): The output signal changes of the five interfaces (5 to 9) are adjusted by the built-in potentiometer.

Jumper Cap Settings (FG/FG*3 & CW/CCW): Should be configured based on the actual motor feedback:
  • No jumper cap: Single-times feedback (FG) / CW initial state.
  • With jumper cap: 3-times feedback (FG*3) / CCW initial state.
Parameter & Settings Guide
  • A Frequency Setting: Press and hold touch switch 1 before powering on, then connect the power. Release the button when the screen displays "FEQ:20K". Touch switch 1 to decrease and touch switch 2 to increase. The factory default is 20KHz.
  • B Number of Poles Setting: Press and hold both touch switch 1 and 2 before powering on. Connect the power and release both buttons when the screen displays "number of poles: 1 polarity". Touch switch 1 to decrease and touch switch 2 to increase. The factory default is 1 pole.
  • C Feedback Settings: The FG/FG*3 pin is used as the feedback multiplier. Add the jumper cap for 3x FG, and leave it off for 1x FG.
  • D Direction Settings: The CW/CCW pin configures the initial state direction of the motor. CCW is active with the jumper cap added; CW is active when the jumper cap is removed.
Main Screen Display: The main interface displays the input voltage, speed, frequency, and duty cycle. For correct speed calculations, the FG/FG*3 configuration and the pole count must be accurately set.
Important Precautions
⚠️ Power Supply Warning
The positive and negative power supply connections of the governor must strictly follow the instructions. Reversing the polarity will burn out the unit.

The governor is designed to match only those motors that are compatible with the specified control interfaces.
⚠️ Port Voltage Limits
Do not apply more than 5V of voltage to any of the five control ports (ports 5 to 9).

What are the input voltage and rated current limits for this governor?
The governor operates within a voltage range of DC 5V-28V, with a maximum rated current of 2A. For motors demanding higher current, the motor's power line must bypass the governor and connect directly to the power supply.
How do I adjust the PWM frequency settings?
Press and hold touch switch 1 before powering on the board. Release the switch once the screen displays "FEQ:20K". Then, touch switch 1 to decrease the value or touch switch 2 to increase it to your desired frequency. The factory default setting is 20KHz.
How is the motor pole number configured on the driver board?
Hold down both touch switch 1 and touch switch 2 simultaneously before powering on. Connect power, then release the buttons when the screen shows "number of poles: 1 polarity". Adjust the count using touch switch 1 (to decrease) and touch switch 2 (to increase).
What will happen if the input power polarity is reversed?
The positive and negative connections must be connected correctly. Reversing the input voltage polarity will cause the governor to fail immediately and permanently burn out the circuitry.
What is the purpose of the FG/FG*3 jumper cap?
It sets the feedback multiplier. If the jumper cap is not added, the board measures single-time feedback (FG). When the jumper cap is added, the feedback rate is set to 3 times (FG*3). Proper configuration is necessary for accurate speed readouts on the screen.
Can I input control signals higher than 5V into the signal ports?
No. The five control ports (ports 5 through 9) are rated strictly for signals. Do not supply these ports with more than 5V of voltage, as doing so will damage the controller interfaces.
